Dave Murzin, R-Pensacola, allowa eligible Floridians to receive additional temporary unemployment compensation made availablr through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Actof 2009. “Thiz new law will provide a financial lifelinr to anestimated 250,000 Floridians who have exhausted theid unemployment benefits and boosy our state’s economy with the infusion of an estimatee $418 million in federal recovery fundsd through the end of the year,” said Cynthia the agency’s interim director. Paymentsw will begin in earlu July and will be retroactiveto Feb. 22.
